So. My Kelser and Alexandra.. years have passed but memories never will. I LOVE this photo
for so many reasons.. it was spring (as it is currently) it was a: "mom can we go out in the rain pullleeeaaasssse!?"  Here in yellow and blue and green is reason for mom's saying "yes!"  They suited up and hit the puddles like no other and the giggles are right here in my heart.  Specifically (in detail)  I love the crazy hair barrette, the COLOR, the mischievous look on Al's face  (she is so that girl 9 years later) and the huge brace-full smile on Kelsey..  Children are a blessing!  Hug them, love them and forgive them.

The Great Diaper Change Assignment... use cloth diapers is the message...twin sisters Amelia and Evelyn await the big change (as did 25 other babies at this local spot) and thousands across the U.S. Saturday.

"Amy do you have a sec?"
Love hearing these words in the midst of shooting an event
as it usually transpires into capturing images like this one.

Clara's Toes

I have moments of doubt about this biz and its all encompassing emotional high wire act of self doubt. I have recently thought: hm? I could start over? I could open a cafe, go back to school to learn a new learn, barista? sure. And then there are toes. and it happens. The adrenaline is released like a small metal ball about to hit the first of many dominoes, (suddenly) I seem to uncare about all fret and effortlessly become engaged in the moment. I see brand new toes and new parents who are 2 weeks into a new life and I feel a sense of purpose.

Assignment: "Different View"

Walking the beach to fulfill this assignment this morning I found a few things, the challenge always being: shooting a unique take given EVERYTHING has been shot before..

Sunday morning my niece Charlotte and I headed to the beach to witness the release of two rehabilitated seals. These pics speak for themselves..
